SNOWDONIA NATURAL SLATE PRODUCTS is one of the UK's leading companies specialising in Natural Welsh Slate. The workshop is set amidst the peaks of the Snowdonia National Park, an area renowned as one of the world's largest slate producing centres. Highly skilled and experienced local craftsmen are employed and use traditional methods of working with slate. State of the art machinery and computer technology provide quality and precision demanded for complex projects.

JOHN TUDOR JONES, the founder and owner of SNSP began his career as a fifteen-year-old apprentice slate craftsman in a local slate mine and was promoted to quarry manager before the age of thirty. He then went on to start his own company SNSP in 1998. He is now in his sixties and has passed his knowledge on to his son David Wynne Jones, who started working with his father full-time in 1999 and became the manager in 2008. He is the fourth generation in his family to work in the slate industry. John, David and everyone at SNSP continue to provide exceptional advice and service.
